Former Chicago Mobster Kenny DeAndrea lived a very troubled and violent life. As a young man an option to join the Marine Corps or go to jail was a decision the courts presented to him, he chose the Marines. After service to this country he returned to what he knew. It wasn't until many years later when he met a pastor of a community church true change began to take place. The Patriot Project USA began in 2015 with its goal to address the nations suicide problem. Kenny developed real solutions that proved successful in restoring peace in many lives as well as his own. 

Kenny worked with several faith based counselors from different walks of life as they crafted the 

"Road to Recovery" programs, these programs have been instrumental in the treatment of mental injuries that claim the lives of 22 veterans a day.
